A Look at the Reimagined 2025 Buick Enclave

General Motors has revamped Buick’s flagship Enclave SUV, signaling the ongoing rejuvenation of the brand, which boasts a rich history spanning approximately 125 years. The 2025 Buick Enclave receives a comprehensive makeover, encompassing technological enhancements, exterior design, and interior aesthetics. The 2025 Buick SUV completes the automaker’s revamp of its current four-vehicle lineup following the introduction of the Wildcat concept vehicle in 2022, which marked the beginning of the brand’s fresh design direction.
While the Enclave is the latest model to undergo the Wildcat treatment, there’s speculation that more vehicles in Buick’s lineup could follow suit. The Big Red looks to expand Buick’s offerings with a new all-electric vehicle that could arrive as soon as 2024. The American automaker is actively exploring various “design studies” to determine the next steps for the once-prominent American brand. GM President Mark Reuss expressed excitement about Buick’s evolving identity during a media event at suburban Detroit’s design and technology campus. Led by design guru Bob Boniface, the team has breathed new life into the 2025 Enclave, making it longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor, with a more aggressive exterior design highlighted by a more extensive front grille and Buick’s striking “reverse checkmark” headlights.
A redesigned interior features a “floating” center console and a standard 30-inch curved infotainment screen. GM’s Super Cruise, a hands-free highway driving system, will be offered across all Enclave trims, alongside standard front heated seats, wireless charging, and other safety and convenience features. Furthermore, the 2025 model year of the Buick SUV bids farewell to its current V6 variant in favor of a standard 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, emphasizing fuel efficiency.
Buick’s transformation is evident across its current lineup, which includes the Encore GX, Envista, Envision, and Enclave crossovers/SUVs. The brand has announced plans to exclusively offer all-electric vehicles by 2030, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and innovation. Despite challenges in the Chinese market, Buick remains optimistic about its future, with plans to continue growing domestically and abroad, fueled by a diverse portfolio of vehicles designed to enchant Buick enthusiasts worldwide.
