The 2025 Buick Envision Gleams as a Vision of Future Luxury
The upcoming 2025 Buick Envision follows the refreshed 2024 model and enters its fifth year since the re-engineered second generation’s debut in 2021. Expect minor updates and adjustments.
We’re privy to a handful of details starting with the start of regular production (SORP) for the 2025 Buick Envision, though the date remains subject to change. Regular production for the 2025 model year will commence on Monday, August 5th, 2024. Interestingly, the refreshed 2024 Envision has not reached U.S. or Canadian dealerships but may launch this Summer (2024). Consequently, the 2024 model year will coincide with the launch of the 2025 model year in Buick showrooms.
Pricing for the 2024 Buick Envision begins at $37,295 for the base Preferred trim and reaches a starting MSRP of $48,395 for the top-tier Avenir trim, including a $1,395 destination freight charge (DFC), but does not include taxes. The refreshed Envision offers various packages and optional paint choices. The Buick SUV’s highlight is the newly introduced 30-inch diagonal infotainment screen, customizable for multiple functions and equipped with Google Assistant and a handful of valuable apps. Safety features encompass Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicycle Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and more.
The 2024 Buick Envision features a single powertrain option, expected to continue in the 2025 model: a turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine producing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive (AWD) is standard across all three trim levels, paired with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission for smooth gear shifts. Production of the Buick Envision takes place on the GM E2 platform at the GM China SAIC-GM Jinqiao South plant.
